years of scheduling complicated productions and pipelines may prove to be completely useless as a farmer, but at least as a learning exercise it sure helped us wrap our heads around planting seeds. Which is intricately related to green house square footage, row feet in the garden and most importantly getting some mixture of food week to week.
the exercise is to see if we can plan a full season’s planting to serve up a balanced 10 person CSA. this will probably be a funny post to look back on about the hilarity of thinking that the season will go anything like these graphs. one things does seem similar to the world of high tech. i feel that this calendar is obsolete the moment i post it.
When we have the final touches done on the planting calendar we’ll send it to whoever wants it!
