Farm News & Recipes
At this time of year roots and greens are thriving on the farm. The radishes and turnips are in their prime, kale and mustards are growing long, deeply colored leaves, and parsnips are finally ready after many months in the ground. Even kale that was planted way back in April, after suffering a bit through the heat of the summer, has made a strong comeback due to mild days and cool nights. The summer bounty may be behind us, but we still have a few weeks of vibrant fall harvests ahead.
