IMG_6069 The peas are rising from the earth!!!!!

I, farmer Sean have finally figured out word press! Here is a post I meant to post weeks ago describing our member requested changes to the CSA this year.

Our members have spoken, and we have listened! The results of the survey Monkey are in and we are working our hardest to put your feedback into our CSA this season.  We have started by bringing your shares to SOHO NYC on Tuesdays, so you have more time to use your food during the week.   We are also delivering  to Williamsburg at 473 grand st Brooklyn NY between 8 and 10!

Some members found that our offering contained more diversity than quantity, so we are focusing on giving you larger amounts of those things you love most.  We will try our best to provide enough of items to create meals that can feed your tribe.  You can expect the items you have grown to love, such as baby greens picked at their prime, sun gold tomatoes, and nutritious kale.  Three fun additions this year are all legumes. We will grow peas, both sugar snap and shelling and the most beautiful and delicious green bean, rattlesnake. Lots of winter squash will be going in the ground this year and should great in the fall.  Onions are expected to be a part of most of our shares since we love them in almost every meal.  We will always offer you the best selection of what is abundant in the garden, and will focus on these most popular items while always giving you, our members over $30 worth of food each week.  The summer will provide more diversity and abundance than the spring, and we will do our best to offer you carefully selected varieties of vegetables, freshly picked, at their peak of flavor.
