we registered with farm link! we are hoping to connect with collaborators that can dedicate to the farm full time. our big picture mission is still very general – intentionally – as we know that people are key to this endeavor and want to leave room for co-ownership. COMMUNITY! we also know that we have an idea of what we want to do, but the reality of that may turn out to be quite different. furthermore, we both like our full time careers and are looking to integrate them with this project. the fact is that we want to do this right and weekends only are just not going to be enough. we are just now getting our conversations going and we hope registering with farm link would broaden our pool of people who would be aligned with our vision.

Seeking a young farmer for farm startup. Housing provided on 41 acre farm 1 mile from metro north train station in Wingdale, NY. We are open to a range of experience levels. We will be transitioning a horse property to food production with our first year goal being a small CSA and limited greenmarket participation. Ideal candidate will have completed an apprenticeship and ready to take the next step, but there are possibilities for more or less experience. We are very collaborative and open to new ideas.
