Another delivery of farm fresh abundance has made it’s way to Manhattan and Brooklyn last evening.  It is such a blessing to offer this delicious and medicinal food to our members. Every trip I recruit more members for this farming comunity, and find ever more wanting to learn. Some even want our help transforming their urban spaces into edible gardens of eden! Every space counts, and the practice of gardening is one everyone can embark upon.

 

The farm has been extra magical lately with Yoga retreats, puppy play, pea picking, weeding, foraging, herbal alchemy and connection to nature! Such an abundant experience on this sacred land!

This weeks CSA offering:

Shelling peas
Zucchini “costata romanesco’
Rainbow Kale
Flat leaf Parsley
Beets
Scallions
Boc choy
Wrinkly Crinkly Cress

This week’s share is so many special items rarely offered in a CSA.  The shelling peas are incredible sauteed and combined with absolutely anything. The zucchini, kale scallions, beets and boc choy  are great prepared in any way.  the wrinkly crinkly cress is divine raw added to salads, slightly sauteed, or made into pesto.  Beware of its building heat!!!
