Farm News

It is week 20 of the CSA, our final delivery. What a season. Farming in this part of the country is no joke. I’ve seen more bugs, worms, caterpillars and critters this year than in all my time farming in California combined. I’ve watched mold and mildew take down a row of crops overnight and stood helpless as weeds grew at approximately the speed of light.

But every challenge translates directly into a learning experience, and we learned A TON. Thanks to a season of endless hard work from Julie, my fellow farmer, we managed to fill your bags each week with fresh, tasty, nutrient-dense veggies, grown from the heart. We hope you delighted in the produce as much as we did, but we are well aware that there is always room for improvement. We’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to reflect on your CSA experience by filling out our end-of-season survey. We would love to get your feedback and make any adjustments we can to foster a happy, healthy relationship between the farm and our members.

A huge thanks to all of you for your support this season. We know you have a myriad of options when it comes to buying food and we can’t thank you enough for choosing our farm. Special thanks also to our hosts at Nathan Love, the Awakening Center and Park Slope. And of course, a giant thank you to Lewis and Abby, without whom none of this would be possible.

Have a splendid winter and we hope to see you again in the spring.

Don’t forget to take the survey!
