IMPORTANT NOTE: This week’s bags will ALL be WHITE. No more black bags. Shares will consist ofTWO WHITE BAGS which will be tied together.

  • full size arugula (in a bunch)

  • sweet/mild peppers (large bag)
  • hot/spicy peppers (small bag)
  • turnips

  • cabbage or broccoli

Farm News

There was a great op-ed in the New York Times the other day about the need to protect farmland for agricultural production, especially in areas surrounding large cities. We as farmers rely on affordable land to sustain our livelihood and you as urban consumers rely on our products for your food supply. The article brings up some interesting points – we encourage you to check it out.

Recipes

Cook up some sauteed greens with olives and serve with jalapeno cheddar scones.


Use your big bag of salad greens and/or arugula in this spicy green salad.


Use your cabbage or broccoli in place of Brussels sprouts in a warm quinoa salad with roasted autumn vegetables.
