After 2 years on the farm Amber and I finally visited the AT despite being a few miles from the Dover oak tree which is supposed to be the largest oak tree on the trail. We spent an hour walking up to the telephone pioneers shelter. It was a 5 minute drive to the trail and it was amazing how well maintained the trail is.
