Farm News

Farming for a CSA is hard work, but so is being a member of a CSA. We deeply appreciate the commitments you make to be part of our CSA. You invest in our small farm in the beginning of the season. You take time out of your day to go to our pick-up locations. You schlep big bags of vegetables back to your homes. You set aside time to chop, prepare and eat fresh food. You accept the restrictions that seasons, weather and organic practices impose on your shares. Thank you so much for your support – we hope you’re enjoying the season and its bounty as much as we are.

Recipes

Chop up all the roots in your bags this week, add some garlic and roast in the oven for simplistic deliciousness. Throw some chopped parsley on top for color and flavor.

Mustard greens, kale, chard and collards can all be used in this healthy take on fried rice.

Fennel and pistachios make a stellar combination, but you could easily use cabbage in this recipe as well.

Bell peppers are a great stand-in for tomatoes in a roasted pepper panzanella.
