this is saving so much time. dishes on the farm have never been cleaner.
we were waiting to do this until we figured out our water softening situation.
after reading more about water softening it is said that you should not drink softened water and that the salt that is used has its own set of issues.
so we decided to go ahead and choose a slightly more expensive bosch. the plumber’s advice was that on a whirlpool we would replace a mechanical part in 8 years and on this one we would replace an electrical chip in 15. hmm.
as for water softening – we are going to focus on rain catch and complements to our well water. our spring is quite tasty and we will test it again this spring.
