Farm News

Today we’d like to introduce you to two types of gherkins. One is the tiny watermelon-shaped cucumbers in your clamshell containers, which are Mexican Sour Gherkins. The other is our trusty farm dog, whose name is also Gherkin. Both are adorable little creatures that serve grand purposes on the farm. The Mexican Sour Gherkins grow like ivy, decorating their trellises with beautiful vines and delectable little fruits. Gherkin the dog is a formidable creature, wielding her 25 pounds of terror toward any foe to the crops. She has chased off rabbits, squirrels, deer, woodchucks, crows, and unfortunately, her fair share of skunks. She takes her job seriously and most days can be found patrolling the rows and fence lines.
